KO: Mummy, why are you spraying my hoody?

(as I spray Vanish on KO’s top, which I’ve taken off him freshly stained)

Me: To get the chocolate ice cream stains off.

KO: Oh.

(pause)

KO: Mum, you’d better spray the sofa too.
